Stormsure glue and repair kit for shoes, boots and waders

Package includes:

1 x 5g tube of Stormsure Flexible Repair Adhesive

2 x 75mm TUFF Tape Repair Patches

1 x disposable plastic gloves

DIRECTIONS

For a quick repair of punctures and splits on flat surfaces, you must clean the surface with alcohol or acetone (check yourself that your material can withstand the cleaning in question) and place a TUFF tape patch or strip directly on the damage. Rub with a smooth, hard object against the surface of the tape to ensure the best adhesion and least air under the patch. For damage in awkward or difficult areas, clean the damaged area in the same way as above; then apply Stormsure Flexible Repair Adhesive directly to the damage, leaving an excess of 5mm overlapping it. As this flexible adhesive tends to run a bit, we recommend that you try to leave the damaged area as flat as possible. After applying the glue, you must let it harden for 10-12, and preferably 24, hours before it is firm and ready for use again. You can advantageously use a bit of painter's tape as a wall / blocking in the direction that your material leans to prevent the flexible glue from running off inappropriately.

TIP

Mix any the flexible adhesive with Stormcure Accelerator to reduce the curing time to approx. 1 hour. Make sure there is no air left in the tube before putting the cap back on. Store partially used tubes in a freezer.
