Description
Apeks ATX40 (2nd stage) Octopus
An affordable octopus for your regulator set from Apeks. The regulator is distinguished by having a large purge button on the front which is easy to operate even with large diving gloves on in cold water. In addition, it has a good size and a low weight that makes it suitable as part of an Apeks regulator set that you can travel with.
Large yellow front makes it easy to see and find and it comes with a 90 long hose in yellow ready to mount on a regulator set.
Apeks ATX40 octopus is a good buy for the price and you get a regulator that will last for many years.
The primary difference between an Apeks XTX regulator and an Apeks ATX regulator is that on the XTX you can reverse the second stages so that you can change the hose routing on the regulator set. It is not a functionality that is important for the user experience itself if you are an ordinary sports diver like the rest of us, but in special cases a different hose guide can be used.
