What is sidemount diving?

Sidemount diving is diving with the bottle or bottles mounted on the side with a harness instead of on the back with a BCD. This gives you the opportunity to do more technical dives such as cave diving and have more fakes down than just the regular bottle on the back of your BCD. Sidemount diving also gives you a better position in the water and greater opportunity to maneuver.
