Diving lights

(124 products)

Underwater lights or diving lights are a crucial part of your equipment for many reasons. The world we find below the surface of the sea is filled with fish and creatures of all colors and sizes. When light travels through water, the colors are filtered out and everything becomes blue and gray.
If you use a diving light, on the other hand, you will experience vivid and natural colors where you shine. If you are in a dive with low visibility, low light, or you are going to dive at night, you will certainly benefit from an artificial light source to see the surrounding environment. You will almost always get a better experience out of your dive if you have a diving light with you, but it doesn't have to be a huge and clumsy thing. In fact, we often recommend diving lights for between 700 and 1500 kroner because you get a lot of light and a light that is a good size to carry around on virtually all your dives.

This is precisely what you will find in the range below, where there are three different types of light to choose from overall. The first option is conventional diving lights with either xenon or halogen bulbs. These provide a white light that burns hotter and uses a lot of energy. HID (High-Intensity Discharge) lights are another option. These lights are more blue in color and use a ballast system which takes a moment to reach full brightness when the dive light is switched on. The last and third type is LED (Light Emitting Diode). Like HID lights, LED lights have a bluish glow, but use diodes instead of filaments. They burn cool and use less energy and often last longer.

There is no doubt that there are by far the most LED lights on the market right now, and the diving lights stand out by providing a lot of light underwater for very reasonable money. At Ocean Divers, we have an assortment of several small and medium-sized diving lights that will give you a really good experience when you use them underwater.
