The Ocean alu spear from Epsealon gives you a great feeling of hunting in a simpler way. The spear is easier to charge than a harpoon and gives you a better connection with your hunting surroundings. You swim with the spear at your side and the spear therefore does not block much of your view. The spear is a little bit more challenging to shoot with than a harpoon and you just have to get used to it. However, you can shoot several shots on the same dive, as the spear is easy to load. You definitely get a stronger feeling of being part of the ecosystem and of being close to mother nature when you hunt in this simple and liberating way.
