Rødvig is a small harbor town with a marina and an idyllic cottage atmosphere. The place is perfect for a bit of spring, summer and late summer diving, where the family or non-diving friends can come along and see a bit of the city. Rødvig's landmark, the Flinteovnen, can be seen at the dive site's parking lot. It was used from 1870-1910 to convert flint from the beach into flint powder used for faience. Rødvig Harbor has been able to hoist the blue environmental flag on the flagpole for several years, which guarantees good bathing water at the sandy beach west of the fishing harbour.
