The diving in Køge Bugt is not always as good. The bottom consists mostly of sand with some stones in between, and it quickly becomes a very monotonous dive. But if you take a trip to the Jersievraget, it will provide a much better beach dive. The Jersey wreck was built around 1850 and is believed to have been beached around 1872. Today the wreck is approx. 40 by 8 meters and goes up to just over a meter from the bottom. If you want to experience the best visibility during a dive on the Jersey wreck, then it should preferably happen after a few days with gentle offshore winds from the north or northwest.
