The old ferry area consisted of a number of ramps and three ferry berths. Immediately next to it is now the Great Belt Exhibition. When constructing the car park at ferry berth 3, it was discovered that there was no solid ground underfoot all the way up to the ferry berth, but cavities in a large area of ​​approx. 10x80 meters, where the bulwark piles are located. It is a very spectacular dive, where some of the poles have fallen and are lying across.
