The diving lane at Amager Strandpark was designed in 2005 by artist Gitte Bjørn and architect Lene Jensen at the request of Amager Strandpark I/S with funds from Copenhagen Municipality's Urban Development Pool and the Local and Infrastructure Fund. Over a stretch of around 200 meters in length and at a depth of around four metres, in June 2007 a number of underwater landscapes and fixed points were laid out, which in different ways offer divers different experiences and small challenges. Seen from above, rocks, metal arches and sewer pipes form a sea witch and it is a slafferland for divers.
