As your desire to explore the underwater world grows, you may want to dive deeper into the historic wreck or cave you've read so much about. One of the factors that limits you the most when diving deep is the nitrogen narcosis. During your trimix course you will learn to plan and execute dives with as little as 18% oxygen and with a maximum diving depth of 60m/200ft with the gas mixture that is optimal in relation to the planned depth.

The course covers topics and skills such as

• Need and possibilities to protect yourself from the cold
  
• Equipment configuration
  
• Planning diving in your team.
  
• Marking of diving bottles
  
• Gas matching in the mate pair
  
• Use of deco buoy

On all our courses, and especially the trimix courses, we place a lot of emphasis on combination exercises, which involve the composition of several independent exercises either alone or together with your diving partners. Good balancing is therefore very important from a safety point of view, as exercises are carried out on decompression dives. If you are in doubt as to whether your skills are sufficient to participate in the course, we can arrange an evening dive where we check the level.

Programme
2 evening theory - Meeting time 17.45 - 22.00 (at least 1 evening runs at Ocean Dive in the shop)
3-4 days diving - Meeting time 09.00 - 17.00
