Extended Range Diver takes you further in planned accelerated decompression diving with a maximum depth of 55m.

Extended Range course can be combined with either Trimix or Advanced trimix. Equipment setup is exactly the same for Extended Range as for Advanced Trimix. The difference is that on Extended Range you dive with air (or nitrox) as bottom gas, and the course has its justification in places in the world where Helium can be both expensive and logistically difficult to get hold of.

We have to go through, among other things:

• Equipment Configuration
• Equipment requirements
• Techniques for decompression diving
• Different breathing gases for use in decompression
• Correct handling of gas quantity
• Correct solution of any problems
• Correct use of deco buoy

Entry requirements
Sports diver with at least 25 dives

Programme
1 evening theory - Meeting time 5.45pm - 10.00pm
2 days diving - Meeting time 09.00 - 17.00
