Apeks' XTX regulator line has been around for over a decade and that they are still well regarded and popular speaks for the quality and performance.
The top model in the XTX200 line is without any problems able to get perfect results in the breathing machine test and in the sea it breathes like a dream. The second stage continues to come with a ComfoBite mouthpiece and a choice of exhaust tees. The wider exhaust piece does well in keeping bubble disturbance to a minimum, but the narrower piece is lighter and more compact. The regulator provides an efficient purge and good user adjustments.

DIN to bracket coupling adapter |

In Denmark and places with colder waters we mainly use the DIN coupling between the first stage and the bottle, but in most places around the world with warm waters the hook coupling/yoke/INT is clearly the most common. If you use your regulator set when traveling, it may therefore be a good idea to have an adapter with you that turns your DIN into a hanger coupling, as most bottles around the warm countries are made for a hanger coupling, so it just makes it easier to use your regulator set. |
