Apeks has developed unique first steps that can be used on a double set. The advantages of this system are that there is a minimal risk of the hoses accidentally getting stuck. There is also minimal risk of the hoses becoming kinked and you have optimal access to your valves on the double set. Each first stage has three low-pressure ports and one high-pressure port. They are over-balanced, cold water compatible and extremely robust. The TEK3 also has a cool design.

Not only is the TEK3 suitable for use with twin sets but it is also equally applicable with single bottle with H or Y valve or stage cylinder configurations - has perfect snag free hose placement.
