Apeks DST 1st step

An overbalanced first stage that ensures that when you dive down and the pressure rises around you that the intermediate pressure in the hose is always the same and means that you always have optimal air consumption regardless of the depth. Designed to keep water out of the spring chamber, preventing it from freezing and minimizing the risk of rust.

Apek's DST first stage is designed as a so-called "turret". A rotatable part which is in the upper part where the intermediate pressure ports (M.P ports) are located, for optimal hose routing. There are four M.P ports and with the possibility of a fifth for e.g. your dual-set or sidemount setup. In addition, you have 2 high-pressure ports (H.P ports).

Designed for use in cold water (below 10 degrees).

Apeks XTX50 2nd stage

The XTX50 is a pneumatically balanced 2nd stage, which means you always have easy and calm breathing - no matter what depth you are at.

On the housing itself, sits the recognized Diver Changeable Exhaust system - a wide exhaust design that reduces bubbles in the head. A big advantage for underwater photographers. Optional.

You can easily adjust the flow in the 2nd stage via the Venturi handle on the side and you can fine-tune it with the adjustment screw. It ensures the amount of air you need!

Apek's XTX series comes with a large purge button that is incredibly easy to use and if you press the side of the purge button, less air comes out. It is smart if you need to fill up something controlled, such as a lifting bag or SMB.
